You have a good book idea. You start writing. However, it isn’t long before you get stuck on the first few pages. What happened? You got caught in analysis paralysis.
Analysis paralysis is a phenomenon that occurs when you think so much about something that you end up doing nothing. Most often, it occurs in fields that require creativity such as writing or business. I’ve personally seen analysis paralysis occur in the start-up scene where companies will spend unnecessary time on business cards, website design, and gimmicky app features.
There’s no need to get caught up with whether the card is mint green or forest green – just make the business card.
